Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: January 2026

GolfSpectrum.com.au ("we", "us", or "our") is an independent review website covering online casinos available to Australian players. This page explains, in plain language, how our site is funded and what that means for you as a reader.

1. We Earn Affiliate Commissions

GolfSpectrum.com.au participates in affiliate marketing programs operated by online casinos and gambling brands. When you click on certain links on this website and subsequently register, deposit, or play at a partner casino, we may receive a commission from that operator. This comes at no additional cost to you — the price, bonus terms, and conditions you receive are the same whether you use our link or visit the operator directly.

These commissions are how we fund the operation of this website, including research, testing, content creation, and ongoing maintenance.

2. Commissions Do Not Influence Our Rankings

Our editorial integrity is not for sale. While we earn commissions from some of the casinos we review, this does not influence:

• Our rankings or "best online casino Australia" lists;
• Our star ratings, scores, or review conclusions;
• The order in which casinos appear in our content (except where clearly marked as sponsored placements);
• Any criticism, warnings, or negative findings we publish about an operator.

Our reviews are based on hands-on testing and defined assessment criteria, including licensing and security, game selection, payment methods and withdrawal speeds, bonus fairness, and customer support quality. Casinos cannot pay for a better review or a higher ranking.

3. How to Identify Affiliate and Sponsored Links

We aim to make commercial relationships easy to spot:

• Affiliate links are typically outbound links to casino websites, often presented as buttons such as "Visit Casino", "Claim Bonus", or "Play Now".
• Sponsored content or placements, where they exist, are clearly labelled with wording such as "Sponsored", "Advertisement", or "Promoted".
• Some affiliate links may include tracking parameters (e.g., campaign or referral codes in the URL) so the operator can attribute your visit to our site.

If you are ever unsure whether a link is commercial in nature, please assume that outbound links to casino operators on this site may be affiliate links.

4. Australian Compliance Statement

We are committed to meeting our obligations under Australian law and industry standards, including:

• The Australian Consumer Law (ACL), administered by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), which requires that advertising and commercial relationships are not misleading or deceptive;
• The AANA Code of Ethics, which requires advertising to be clearly distinguishable as such;
• Relevant guidance from the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) concerning online gambling content.

We only promote operators that hold appropriate licensing, and we remind readers that under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, it is illegal for unlicensed operators to offer certain online gambling services to people in Australia. We encourage you to verify the legal status of any gambling service before using it.

5. Your Responsibility as a Reader

By using this website, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for verifying that you meet the legal gambling age (18+ in Australia) and that online gambling is permitted in your location;
• Information on this site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice;
• Bonus offers, terms, and casino features change frequently — you should always read the operator's full terms and conditions before registering or depositing;
• Gambling involves risk. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose.
